This week we continue our work with the metric system, moving from theoretical work to hands-on work. There will only be four rotations this week.
Monday - Overview of Volume. HW - Reading Graduated Cylinders Rotation 2/Rotation 3 - Mass and Volume Lab - use your time wisely! Friday - Metric System Test - be prepared to use the metric ladder to make conversions between units. Make sure you know the most commonly used prefixes for meters, liters, and grams, and be prepared to read and interpret graduated cylinders. There are only four rotations this week! Monday - Notebook Prep, Review Safety Quiz, Work on Safety Poster Rotation 2 - Introduction to the Metric System. Your completed safety poster and self evaluation is due at the BEGINNING of class Rotation 3 - Measuring Length Friday - Measuring Mass, day 1 This week students are learning about science safety. All relevant material is being covered in class and students will be prepared for their quiz this Friday!

Monday - I am not going to be in school today. Your assignment - watch the video presented by Ms. Curtis. When you are done, you can begin on your assignment due Wednesday, your instagram posts.
